4 Weeks Printmaking Course

A four-week course designed to develop your printmaking creative journey. In a supportive, small group setting, you'll embark on a creative journey, transforming your ideas into unique, handcrafted prints. This course is ideal for beginners or intermediate printmakers. You’ll learn how to create monoprints, layered monoprints, explore Lino/vinyl and wood relief techniques. Our Ink Pod Creative team will tailor the course to your needs and skills with an opportunity for you to explore your ideas, develop your skills and immerse yourself into the world of printmaking. Where: Ink Pod Collective. 188 Church Road. Hove. BN3 2DJ. When: Wednesday from 6.30 to 8.30 pm. Limited spaces. Four-week course content: 23rd APRIL - Monoprinting. You will learn how to create layered monoprints for use later in the course. 30th APRIL - Introduction to printmaking tools and surfaces. You will learn the differences between lino/vinyl ,wood reliefs and the tools for carving. 7th MAY - Design, transfer and carve your image into your choice of Lino/vinyl or wood. 14th MAY - Printing session using the monoprints from the first session, along with various materials and textures such as different papers and fabrics. If a session is missed due to weather or cancellation, it will be rescheduled for the same time on Wednesdays during May.
